The ‘perfect’ colorful dress that women are being approached for on the street
SHOPPERS are on the hunt for a colorful maxi dress that’s perfect for any occasion.
Fashionistas are going crazy for a bright orange floral dress that is super flattering and ‘covers up lumps and bumps’.
Retailer Roman is selling the belted Bardot tiered dress, which is proven to brighten people’s days.
So much so that shoppers on the street were approached and complimented on the ‘beautiful’ dress.
And what’s even better, the dress, which is available in sizes 10 to 20, has been reduced from £65 to £48.
Roman’s website describes the dress as follows: “This floral print dress features a modest maxi length and a flattering fit-and-flare style, finished with a cute ruffle trim.”

The dress is made of woven fabric and has an elasticated bardot neckline with an elasticated waist, making it easy to put on and take off.
They finished it all off with a fabric belt that you can tie yourself, which creates a beautiful shape.
You can pair it with heels, making it perfect for a summer wedding or a day at the races.
If you prefer to wear the dress for a more casual occasion, you can also combine it with sneakers or sandals.
In a furious race to the comments section of Roman’s website, shoppers have been giving their opinions on the “five-star” dress.
Someone wrote: “I love this dress! I just wore it to an Andrea Bocelli concert at BST Hyde Park in London and people stopped to compliment me on it.
‘Man loves it’
“My partner says he loves me too. Very airy and light; very comfortable to wear.
“The only thing I would say is that it’s quite long and flowing, which I like, but for some it might be too long.
“I’m 1.68m tall and it almost reaches the floor.
“Cover bumps and lumps well and great if you have thick ankles and want to cover them up a bit too!”
“I will wear this again when the weather improves. It washes well on a low temperature and is true to size.
“I’m also taking it on a cruise in October and hope to wear it much more then.”
Another added: “I love it. Beautiful material, great summery colour. Easy and flattering to wear. Can easily pull the collar down to show shoulders. Good price too.”
While a third said: “Beautiful colour. I ordered a size 12 but had to return for a size 14. Can’t wait to wear it on my holiday in Mexico.”
How to Look Chic on a Budget
Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger and beauty journalist Samantha Silver showed how to make your outfits more stylish without spending hundreds of euros.
- Never spend money on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection of fashionable jeans that follow the current trends”. The retailer offers a wide range of sizes from UK 6 – UK 18 and three leg lengths – with prices starting at an affordable £25.
- There are no rules for jewelry: ”Get something at a flea market or thrift store, score on Vinted and eBay, buy something from the clothing section of your local supermarket when you go shopping or have a look in clothing stores on the high street.”
- Don’t forget the second-hand sites: With the rise of second-hand sites like Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse not to buy – or sell – second-hand clothes. Gemma, for example, managed to get her hands on a pair of chic Chanel sunglasses for just £17.
