The reason we won’t be seeing back-to-school photos of George, Charlotte and Louis
LIKE most children in the region, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis returned to school this week.
The trio all attend Lambrook School, but if you were looking for some cute photos of the young royals from when they first started school, you might be disappointed.
While Prince William and Princess Kate have shared photos of their children during this time of year in previous years, something is different this school year: there are no photos at all.
This is reportedly because the couple only shares photos of the children in school uniforms to celebrate important moments, such as Louis’ first day of school in 2022.
It was not only the start of Louis’ school life, but also George and Charlotte’s first day at the new school they attended after the family moved from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
Since the children are all attending the same school this year, it’s unlikely royal fans will see them with Kate and Will at the school gates.

Before moving to the preparatory school in Berkshire, George (11) and Charlotte (9) attended Thomas’s School in Battersea, while Louis (now six) went to Wilcocks Nursery School in South Kensington.
Unlike many of his peers, Prince George will not be attending secondary school yet, as his current school educates children up to the age of 13 (Year 8), meaning George has two years before he moves on to his secondary school. next school.
While the palace has not yet confirmed where Prince George will be attending, Majesty Magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward claims there is a “very likely” next school for Prince George.
Speaking to Fabulous she claimed: “She [William and Kate] have their choice of schools, and they can look at as many as they want, and they don’t have to make a decision as early as someone else. So they have that advantage.
“They looked at Eton.
“She [Kate] probably doesn’t want him to go to boarding school at all, and it’s possible he doesn’t want to.
“But I mean, that’s what makes Eton so likely, because it’s so close to where they live.”
Inside Lambrook School and How Much It Costs
Lambrook School was founded in 1860 by Robert Burnside and is set in 130 acres of extensive countryside.
It is a co-educational, independent day and boarding school for children aged 3 to 13.
It is described as a ‘preparatory’ school, a term used in the UK for private schools that are similar to state primary and secondary schools.
The school was run as a ‘traditional’ boarding school for boys and only accepted girls in 1993.
Notable alumni include actor and model Alex Pettyfer, Lord Alfred Douglas, author, poet and lover of Oscar Wilde and Giles Clarke, the founder of Majestic Wine.
School fees vary depending on age and the type of education parents want.
From junior high to year 2 it costs £4,389 per term, for years 3-4 it costs £6,448 and for older students in years 5-8 it costs £6,999.
That means William and Kate spend a staggering £50,000 a year on private education.
This does not include additional costs for school trips, sports and uniforms.
Kate Middleton’s ‘golden rule’ with George, Charlotte and Louis
KATE’S number one rule for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis is about kindness.
According to HELLO! Online’s Royal Family Correspondent: “Based on observations of photographs of Princess Diana at the time and the current Princess of Wales, they are both very affectionate towards their children.
“When they were younger, Kate was often seen holding her children’s hands or picking them up for a cuddle.
“There are often many comforting gestures, such as a pat on the back or stroking their hair. When interacting with other children during her public appearances, Kate often crouches down to their level to connect with them – something Diana often did.”
When she is at the family home Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, insiders say that despite her royal status, Kate is just like any other “normal mother”.
A friend explained that the 42-year-old is “very relaxed at home” behind closed doors, but that he certainly doesn’t let himself go and that he will put the children in their place if necessary.
She told PEOPLE: “It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.
“She does it to help her children be more grounded and in control of their reality. That’s what really matters to her.”
