- Iconic samples Lagiacrus and Seregios will make their big return
- The game will also have a cooperation event with the guitar brand Fender
The Capcom Spotlight from 26 June contained a new presentation by Monster Hunter Showcase, and we now know much more about the coming second free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds As a result.
Arriving Monday 30 June we already knew that the flagship sample is free title update 2 to be Lagiacus, an Aquatic ‘Leviathan’ type monster that fights both on land and underwater. Capcom has now confirmed that some underwater combat sections will be built into the Lagiacus fight. Let’s hope it is not nearly as miserable as in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Favorite Seregios will also make a surprising return Monster Hunter Wilds. An incredibly agile flying Wyvern, Seregios was only unveiled until last night’s showcase.

In addition to these two recurring monsters, free title update 2 will also bring a new bow hardened fight, this time with Wilds’ Gargantuan Uth Duna. As with Rey Dau in the first update, players can expect them to earn material for an improved armor set if they succeed in bringing this ultra -challenging monster down.
Later in the route map of the update, on August 27, Monster Hunter Wilds has been set to launch a collaboration with the legendary guitar maker Fender. During the event, players can accept a search with which they can receive a gesture with their hunter with a limited Rathalos Telecaster edition.
Regarding various and quality of life updates, free title update 2 brings a lot of it. The most important of these is the new layered weapon system, with which hunters can turn the appearance of their weapons into others they have unlocked – as long as they have completed the upgrade tree of that weapon.
We can also expect a new festival with summer theme, improvements in photo mode, another wave of cosmetic downloadable content (DLC) and more. For more information, make sure you have the supervisor PlayStation Blog Post A look.
