The twin sister of College Football Quarterback found dead days after they graduated together

Legal enforcement officials in Tuscaloosa, Alabama have confirmed the death of the incoming university of Alabama first -year Kierston Russell.
Kierston is the twin sister of Alabama First-year Quarterback Keelon Russell, who was a Consensus Top-Twee Recruit in the 2025 class and the Consensus No. 1 Recruit in the state of Texas.
The brothers and sisters recently graduated from the Duncanville High School at the end of last month.
A declaration from the Tuscaloosa police confirmed Kierston’s identity after the family had given permission in an attempt to suppress questions from the media.
The police said that her death “at the moment seems to be non-criminal at the moment,” that no other information would be released at the moment and asked that the media respect the privacy of the family.
Dailymail.com has contacted the University of Alabama and the athletics department of the school for comment on this.

Keelon placed a tribute to his sister on his Instagram story hours before the police statement was released.
“Dear God, thank you that every good and pleasant gift is from above,” reads Keelon’s message.
‘You are the source of every blessing in my life – my health, my work, my relationships and the power to face every day.
‘Even my ability to work and create comes from you. I acknowledge that I only have a gift from your generous hand.
‘As Jacobus 1:17 says:’ Every good and perfect gift is from above, which comes down from the Father of the heavenly lights, which does not change as shifting shadows. ‘You are faithful and I am grateful. In Jesus ‘name, Amen.’
Keelon also placed a number of tribute to Kierston about his story.
Keelon registered with Alabama early and went to the spring training at the football team.
One of the best Quarterbacks in his class, Keelon has opted for offers from Baylor, Florida, Ole Miss, Oregon, UCLA and Vanderbilt.

He also received several offers from schools in his home, including Houston, SMU, TCU and Texas A&M.
During the previous football season in high school, Keelon won the National Gatorade Player of the Year and the Maxwell High School Player of the Year Awards.
He initially committed himself to SMU in September 2023 before he turned his dedication to Alabama in June 2024 – specifically referring to the opportunity to work with incoming Crimson Tide -head coach Kalen Deboer.
Last season the typically dominant Crimson Tide ended 9-4 in the first year of Deboer since taking over seven-time national champion Nick Saban.
