The grieving woman of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota Was arrived in Portugal later today for his funeral.

Rute Cardoso, who married the 28-year-old football player less than a month before his tragic death next to his brother Andre Silva on Thursday, appeared outside the church this morning on Saturday.

The mother of three was seen that well -desired wishes hugged when she left her car near the chapel of the resurrection, in Jota’s birth city of Gondomar, where the coffins of the brothers were laid.

Just before 10 am they are worn from the resting chapel to the front of the adjacent parochial church of Gondomar.

Only family and friends are allowed in the church, but a live stream with audio from the service will be played outside for thousands of mourning people who are expected to close the streets to express their respect.

Yesterday Wishers laid flowers at the Kielzog for the brothers, who traditionally happen to the funeral in Portugal.

Several players from the past and present from the Premier League received an applause from local mourners while passing through the streets last night to visit the chapel.

Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo, Federico Chiesa, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher and manager Arne Slot Put on a united front while they brought themselves through the city.

A handful of former Liverpool stars also made the journey, among them Brighton‘s James Milner and Ajax’s Jordan Henderson. The last threw to Portugal after bringing a sincere tribute during a tearful return to Anfield earlier in the day.

A large number Premier League Stars including Manchester City Con Bernardo Silva, Diogo Daloh of Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes and Jota Silva Van Nottingham Forest also made the trip to Portugal for the funeral today.

Mourning people sagged and wore roses and national team scarals in honor of Jota, who won the UEFA Nations League with Portugal less than a month ago during a wake on Friday.

Air images showed queues that extend from the small chapel, around the corner to the nearby church where his funeral will be held.

Jota’s deeply sad wife and parents gathered at the wake and held a wake with the coffins of the former Wolves striker and his brother.

Rute Cardoso, who married the 28-year-old football player on June 22, entered the chapel in Gondomar after his return with her husband’s body from Spain on Thursday.

The city with a view of Porto is where the couple, who shares three children, met and started dating as teenagers.

Diogo and Andre’s mother Isabel, Father Joaquim and their grandfather were also emotional when arriving in the chapel.

Joaquim embraced different people and was supported by his brother and later put a hand on mourning people when he left with his wife. They returned about an hour later.

Father of three Jota was killed in the early hours of Thursday morning together with his football player Brother Andre Silva, 25.
