- New Dyson Airwrap Co-Arand 2x is smaller and lighter but more powerful
- Introduces attachment -memory and a cool new Straighter confirmation
- For sale on July 8 in the US and ‘September’ in the UK
Dyson has launched a new version of its air wrap and it looks better than ever. The new Airwrap Co-Arand 2x is smaller and lighter, but offers more air pressure and more power. The accessories have also been upgraded to strengthen the versatility of the styler.
There is now attachment recognition and a completely new AirMooth supplement that looks particularly interesting for those who want to create tight, straight styles.
I assessed the Dyson Airwrap ID and assessed the Dear hairstyler On the market. I haven’t tested this yet, but if I was a gambling woman, I would say that Dyson is about to deduct his own styler with the upgraded version.
To create that smaller and lighter build, the Airwrap Co-Arand 2x has completely redesigned its internal mechanics with a new hyperdymium 2 engine. Two cool facts about this engine are that it can run nine times faster than an F1 autorotermotor, and that the wire that flows the engine is only 90 microns wide – which is as thin as a strict human hair. It can apparently supply twice the air pressure and 30% more power than the air wrap -ID, without increasing the noise levels, which should mean faster drying, more efficient hair packaging and slimmer right -bowl measurement.
You still get the Idcurl function, that was Such a game changer on the AirWrap ID This allows you to start a personalized curl series with a button. Here the barrels can apparently also detect when the hair is completely packed and it is time to start the ID -curl compamony.
In general, it seems that the gap between Dyson and other Airwrap-Alikes is getting larger Best air wrap Dupes I can even offer curls on the same vessel clockwise and against the clock, let alone automate the entire process for you. However, I am somewhat disturbed to see that Dyson seems to have re-designed the buttons here, so that the thick, easy-to-use buttons of the air wrap ID have changed for the DuWe, unnecessarily small switches on the Dyson Supersonic R Hair Dryer.
It’s all in the accessories
As I said at the top, the accessories where it is real are, so let’s take a closer look. Earlier versions of the AirWrap were mainly focused on curling, but this newest iteration strengthens versatility and behaves more like a real ‘multi-styler’.
Firstly, the appendices now contain RFID sensors with which the dryer part can recognize on which has been cut. It is then automatically adjusted to the optimum temperature and wind speed settings (the first time) or your last used settings (then) with each attachment. It is exactly the same as on the Supersonic Nural And Supersonic R Hair DryersWhere I thought it was huge, helped to streamline the styling process, making it easier than ever to trade in tools.
Secondly, there is a new confirmation that is specifically aimed at straightening: the AirMooth2x, which looks like it was inspired by the wet to dry Dyson Airstrait. Two unheated plates clamps together and shoot the hair between them with air, where the tension smoothes and straightens the strands while they dry. The plates are not set up automatically as soon as you reach the bottom of the hair.
Dyson says that the Airwrap Co-Arand 2x is the only multi-styler on the market that comes with six corrosive biting. I am not sure if that is true, but there is certainly a more extensive reach than you would usually get.
There are two bundles to choose from, with different fixings that match different hair types:

- 40 mm curls

You can pick up most attachments separately if the one you want is not included in your chosen bundle. Also available is a 20 mm barrel for tighter curls (interesting is that Dyson has already abolished the tapered barrel that it has already introduced with the air wrap ID).
“Traditional stylers can damage her, but we have always focused on developing tools that protect the health of her while they improve without endangering precision and/or performance,” notes the founder of brand James Dyson. “We use our expertise in engines, liquid dynamics and materials to constantly improve … It is about creating exciting long -term styles with smarter, more efficient technology.”
