When big shopping events like Black Friday happen, I’m always looking for a sweet treat board game offers that can help me expand my collection. This year I noticed that one of the best family games you can play, and a personal favorite in our home is on sale. It’s called Fire Tower, and it’s as brutal as it is beautiful.
The premise of the game is quite simple: be the last fire tower standing in the middle of a giant forest fire. The execution of this is to place beautifully crafted gems on the board to represent the flame in the direction the wind is blowing.
The wind mechanic makes the game so fun and unpredictable. You can use cards to change the direction the wind is blowing to make it easier to get to an opponent’s lighthouse, but the game will also randomly change directions at different times, adding a touch of chance to your gameplay.
Finding a good deal on board games is great at the best of times, but when I see some of my favorite games have dropped to more than half off, I want to share them with you all.
