‘This is creepy,’ people snicker after woman copies Kendall Jenner’s ‘hidden’ tattoo
A WOMAN instantly regrets her trendy tattoo after it went completely wrong.
The ink was supposed to be completely hidden, but it ended up right in the middle of her face, causing her to burst into tears.
The tattoo, which reads “meow,” was supposed to be on the inside of the woman’s lower lip.
But somehow it ended up on the outside – not exactly hidden.
The tattoo artist posted his experience on TikTok, sharing a video explaining ‘how it started’ with a click of her looking a little nervous just before she got the tattoo.
But the design turned out to be much larger than she expected, and we haven’t even mentioned the outside of her bottom lip.
The second photo shows the woman in tears over the failure.
She immediately regretted her decision and decided to have the design lasered.
But after the first session, the tattoo had only faded slightly.
The video quickly went viral on social media, with people wondering how the ink could have gone so wrong.
“This is the first time I’ve seen someone mess up an inner lip tattoo and it’s scary,” one person said.
A second agreed: “This is really bad girl, I’m sorry.”
“Time to try full coverage lipsticks,” said another.
And someone else added: “How did you not realize this before?!”
But others thought the woman knew the design wasn’t hidden when she got it, with one tattoo artist even noting, “As a tattoo artist, she knew. To get a tattoo on your bottom lip, you really have to hold your lip out.”
The tattoo’s design was supposed to be the same as Kendall Jenner’s hidden tattoo, which she previously got while drunk.
In a 2018 interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the reality star and model explained, “I was drunk. I couldn’t think straight.”
Before showing off her tattooed lip on the show, the host asked why she chose the word “meow.” The supermodel said she didn’t think much about it.
Kendall said, “It was literally the first thing that came to my mind. My drunken thoughts!”
What to do and not to do when getting a tattoo
1. Think, think and think again
Tattoos that you get done on a whim are much more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo that you have thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you have chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
In the UK you must be 18 years old to get a tattoo.
3. Don’t negotiate the price
When you go to a tattoo shop, the price is the price. You pay for the time and skill of an artist, they charge what they think those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed when you’re hungry
Eat before your tattoo session and stay hydrated. You are about to undergo a period of prolonged physical discomfort, if you are feeling a little weak from hunger or dehydrated it will not go as smoothly as it should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before getting a tattoo
If you are drunk or on drugs, do not get a tattoo. In fact, if your tattoo artist has any of their stuff, they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicants. I would also not drink the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make you bleed more.
