‘This is insane,’ people say as influencer puts on makeup while dilating 10cm
A WOMAN has stunned everyone after she applied a thick layer of makeup just before giving birth.
Kylen Suttner, an influencer from the US, was preparing for the birth of her second child, but wanted to make sure she looked gorgeous for the big moment.
Lying on a hospital bed in a surgical gown with her 4-inch dilation, Kylen made sure to apply her foundation, concealer, contour cream, blusher, and brow gel despite feeling incredibly nauseous.
Kylen posted her short clip to social media with the caption, “Does anyone else get THIS sick right before pushing?”, leaving many people with their mouths open.
The content creator then revealed that she was “almost 10cm dilated” and was therefore “getting ready”.
She explained that she was using her phone as a mirror because she actually wanted to take a real mirror to the hospital, but she had forgotten.

As she touched up her cheeks and forehead, she shared, “I’m starting to feel a lot of pressure down there, like I have to poop — and I guess that means I have time for the baby?”
She then applied concealer to her eyes, adding: “The baby’s heart rate is continuing to drop, which is nice because that was the reason I had to have a c-section last time. It was very traumatic, so I really hope the drop stops.
“This is my second child, but it’s my first time trying to have a vaginal birth, so I’m very scared.”
The influencer, who also sported a new set of blue acrylic nails for the occasion, quickly applied some brow gel and continued, “I’m really trying to finish my makeup before the nurse comes back so I’m not going to fill in my brows.”
To complete her maternity makeup look, Kylen applied some bronzer to her nose and eyelids, continuing, “I can literally feel it sitting so low. I feel like they’re going to come in here at any moment and be like, ‘It’s time.’ Wish me luck.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @kylensuttnerhas clearly left many people in awe, as the video quickly went viral, amassing 5.9 million views in just two days.

However, social media users were divided over the brunette beauty’s makeup routine.
How does a woman’s figure change after giving birth?
TO SAY that the body changes during pregnancy and childbirth is an understatement.
During the nine months it takes for the body to give birth to a baby, the body undergoes a number of major physical changes.
Considering how different your body looks during pregnancy, it’s no surprise that there are lasting changes.
And in a sense, it never does, says Dr Rachel Ward, a GP at the Woodlands Medical Centre in Derby.
1. Wider rib cage and hips
“During pregnancy, our bodies produce a hormone called relaxin to accommodate the growing baby and prepare us for birth,” she explains.
Relaxin makes our joints and ligaments more flexible and mobile.
“Many women find that the shape of their pelvis and rib cage remains different after pregnancy,” says Dr. Rachel.
According to the expert, it is normal to need a different bra size due to a change in breast size.
“This is a reminder of the changes your body has gone through to make room for your baby. You don’t need to worry about it,” she added.
2. Change in skin color
During pregnancy, most women experience changes in their skin as it stretches to accommodate your belly and larger breasts.
“It is not uncommon to develop stretch marks.
“While they often fade over time to a shiny, light color, depending on your skin tone, they may not disappear completely,” says Dr. Rachel.
“Some people find stretch marks unsightly, but it is a very common change that we see in many people,” she adds.
3. A change in the shape of the breasts
During pregnancy, the breasts become larger as the breast tissue prepares to produce milk.
And shortly after birth, they begin to produce milk and swell, Dr. Ward explains.
“Whether you choose to breastfeed or not, the shape, size and look and feel of your breasts will likely be different after pregnancy than before,” she added.
“This is not a problem, but it is important that we learn what the new normal is for our breasts so that we remain aware of the implications of breast cancer and remain alert to changes that may indicate cancer.”
While some confessed that they would do the same, many considered it “madness” and “wrong.”
A beauty fan beamed: “Yes. Glamorous girl.”
Why would you need makeup to give birth? This is so wrong

While a second chimed in: “Lol the makeup from before would be me.”
Still, not everyone agreed, as one said: “The last thing on my mind was putting on makeup.”
