The Noni Glow Face Oil from KORA Organics, an organic, cruelty-free brand created by supermodel Miranda Kerr, is definitely the most expensive thing in my medicine cabinet, but I can’t get enough of it. It’s so luxurious that I actually stopped buying it in a while, but recently I’ve come back to the silky goodness that hydrates my skin and smells delicious. I should have waited to repurchase it, because it’s currently for sale for Amazon Prime Day for $56, down from the usual $74 for a 30-milliliter bottle. (You can get a smaller 10ml bottle for the more affordable regular price of $29.)
There are a few reasons why I like this serum. The first is that the company promotes its products as not tested on animals and contain organic ingredients; the most important in the Noni Glow Face Oil include rosa canina fruit oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil and more. KORA Organics says its ingredients are sourced from organic farming. And unlike some brands that market “natural” products, this product actually feels natural and nourishing on the skin.
The facial oil also has an aromatherapy element and the scent of rose, geranium and jasmine is calming but not overpowering, which is why I like to use it in the evening.
The other reason I like this face oil is because it’s so gentle and fits into my weekly routine. Every other night I use a drugstore retinol product, which is a more “active” and chemical-based skincare product, along with a regular moisturizer. But on the odd night I like to add something extra gentle to my standard wash and moisturizer. Noni Glow is so gentle that you can use it every day or multiple times a day, although I like to use it every other night because it stretches the product out and makes it last longer. Because again, it’s a splurge.
