This TV accessory makes me feel like I’m in a theater every night, and it costs less than $50 for Black Friday

I don’t have the biggest TV ever, or even the biggest TV among my friends and family. There’s no place I’d rather watch a movie or play a game in the evening than on the couch. Over the last few years I have used several versions of the Govee TV Backlight system and I absolutely love the effect it has on what I watch. There are a number of different types of TV backlights. Some maintain a single color around your TV, usually a warmer shade of white, making the colors on the screen more noticeable to most eyes. Govee’s TV Backlight system is more interactive than that. It uses a special fisheye lens camera pointed straight at your TV to see what colors are currently appearing at the edges of your screen. The software passes that information to the LED strips on the back of the television, which then extends that color to the wall behind your screen. I’ve set up a few of these over the years, and they’ve never taken more than 30 minutes to complete. These lights can also be turned on and off by an app on your phone or by connecting the app to Amazon’s Alexa service. It’s extremely satisfying to call Alexa and suddenly color pops out of your TV, and the settings are very easy to adjust to suit any living room situation, as long as your TV is close to a wall.

This is the lowest price Amazon has ever recorded for this TV kit. A few weeks ago there was a flash sale on Amazon where the price dropped to $57, but this deal is significantly lower and there are options for multiple TV sizes.
