Tiger Woods sparks concerns amongst golf fans as clip from Las Vegas charity poker night goes viral

Tiger Woods has sparked concern among golf fans after a clip from his own charity poker event in Las Vegas went viral on social media.

The 15-time major winner was captured on camera by American professional poker player Phil Hellmuth during his Tiger Jam poker charity event.

One of the highlights of the event is Tiger’s Poker Night, which attracts A-list celebrities and well-known faces from the poker world.

Hellmuth had run into Woods at the event, which ran from May 31 to June 1, and the two talked about the 48-year-old’s TGR Foundation.

Woods said without a doubt, TGR’s greatest success comes from the stories children come back and tell after being educated through his foundation.

“Suddenly they’re thriving in college,” he said. “Going to Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Yale and going to great places and doing great things.”

However, the clip raised eyebrows among golf fans on social media, with some questioning whether he had had too much to drink or was not doing well, but others quickly came to his defense, saying he seemed completely coherent and cheerful.

Another wrote: ‘What’s wrong with him? He seems great.’

“People are mad that he’s partying in Vegas? What?’ commented one user on

‘That was really great. Man Tiger looked old for the first time. But he looks like a cool guy to hang out with,” another said of the golf legend.

“He’s just living,” said another, while someone else said: “Let him enjoy his life.” Do not judge! His foundation is doing fantastic things.”
