Tiktok has fallen worldwide because users report problems watching videos in the app

The technical problems started around 4:30 pm and led quickly that thousands of people complained online about the malfunction.
Some users noted that the social media platform claimed that the problems were linked to the internet connection of the users, but the connections were actually stable.

The biggest disruptions have been reported in New York, with other major problem places that pop up in Washington DCHouston and Seattle.
While the malfunction stretched for more than an hour, many loyal Tiktok users flowed to other platforms to express their grief about the Black -out of the Social Media.

Other Tiktok users have reported that the app came back temporarily around 5:20 pm, but it quickly went down again.
“I can scroll for 2 seconds, then it won’t let me,” reported a tap user user.
Another person in Atlanta added that the app worked for about five minutes before it was closed again.
Tiktok has not tackled the global malfunction on their accounts on other social platforms.
“It seems that they don’t talk about it at all, and I don’t even see makers talking about it or noticing,” a person said on a down detector.
Users can make short videos with Tiktok, usually 15 to 60 seconds.
Launched in 2016 by Bytedance, a Chinese company, has more than a billion monthly active users worldwide.
Although it is popular with Gen Z and younger generations, Tiktok has confronted with control over data privacy and content of content.
In the US, legislators have tried to ban Tiktok about the concern about the national security arising from the alleged ties of Bytedance with the Chinese government.
