Tom, who won gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, was spotted crocheting and knitting for this year’s games in Japan.

At the Olympics, Tom and Matty defeated China by just 1.23 points after a nerve-wracking performance in the synchronized category as Daley took his third Olympic medal.

Daley made his Olympic debut as a 14-year-old in Beijing and won bronze in London 2012 and Rio five years ago.

Daley and Lee were not expected to win, with China being the favourites, but they never fell out of the top two, finishing with a score of 471.81 after an exceptional pike forward 4 and a half somersault when the pressure was high in the final round.
