A restless Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer is prohibited for three months with immediate effect of ‘non-sporting violations’.

David Cottin has been denied the right to appeal against the verdict transferred by France, according to Paris grass.

Cottin, who was previously forbidden for 12 months (six suspended on condition of good behavior) after horses in his garden did not fail -drug tests, cannot have another runner until the end of September.

He was previously ‘one of the most charismatic Jockeys’ before he became a trainer and is the son of the famous French handler Philippe Cottin.

The release that confirmed the ban of Cottin did not explicitly state how he had violated the conditions of his permit.

The French racing journalist Adrien Cugnasse told the Nick Luck Daily Podcast more about the ‘Sad Story’ earlier this year.

The reporter claimed that Cottin was trying to buy Champagne at the bar at Autoschieuil, but ‘got a bit crazy’ when he was refused without his card.

He reportedly received a two -month ban from the racecourse after a fight with a bar employee.

Cugnasse then went to reveal unconfirmed reports from a ‘street fight’ in which Cottin was involved who ‘ended with a young member of the industry who was injured’.
