Even though we’re in the middle of fall, I’m not quite ready to let go of my summer midi skirts.
So instead of wearing them with a slogan tee, like I’ve been doing all summer, I’m swapping them for a sweater.
Burgundy is the color of the season and I love this jumper from Arket, and the block color means it’s versatile enough to match most of my wardrobe.
I’m adding a pair of brown Adidas sneakers that seem to be on everyone’s wish list at the moment, a charm necklace from Never Fully Dressed that I’m obsessed with and a woven red bag from M&S.
I think I’ve completely transitioned into the upcoming season.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the transition to my fall wardrobe and I’m fully embracing the warm, cool girl tones that are trending this season.
I couldn’t resist purchasing Primark’s viral knit in this beautiful warm beige, and I’m seriously impressed! I’ve worn it so many times.
I normally spend a bit more on knitwear but this one holds up so well after washing and the quality is fantastic, a real Primark bargain.
You’ll have to act quickly to get your hands on one, though, as they’re selling out quickly. Pro tip: use click-and-collect to make sure you don’t miss anything.
Last weekend I tucked the knit into a denim skirt from Zara and paired it with dark suede boots, which are also all the rage – Primark really nailed it!

I’m a sucker for a good knit.
Cozy season is one of my favorite times of year and I hate being cold, so I don’t need any knitting at all.
While everyone in fashion country wears burgundy red, I opted for an ocher-colored knit in the color of the falling leaves.
This fall color feels warmer on my older skin tone and boosts my complexion instead of draining it.
I added these beautiful snake print boots from Aeyde that I have been eyeing for weeks, I know they are a splurge item but they go with everything in my wardrobe and will last for years to come.
Fantastic fashion editor on fall trends
Do you want to look fantastic this season? Then listen…
Here, Fabulous’ fashion editor, Clemmie Fieldsend, says these are the top 5 trends from the hottest catwalk designers for Fall 2024.
BOHO: The boho revival is a much-needed breath of fresh air for autumn and means you can wear your sheer tops, girly dresses and oversized jeans with chunky boots.
But if the clothes aren’t for you, think big accessories like sloppy tote bags, big earrings and bigger bracelets.
TEXTURE: Whether it’s smooth leather, lush faux fur or soft suede, textures are everywhere this season.
They add depth to your look, making you stand out and also look more expensive.
BURGUNDY: Maroon, oxblood, berry: whatever you call it in fashion, it’s red this fall.
The deep and rich color is everywhere and works best with shades of gray, black, dark blue and from head to toe.
LADY LIKE: Matching top and cardigan sets and pencil skirts sound dated, but they go hand in hand with being ladylike.
Pair with satin cami dresses and fitted blazers for an ultra-feminine look.
LEOPARD PRINT: According to Tagwalk, 75% of the runway this season was leopard print – a vast majority.
It crept its way into last season, but it’s widespread in autumn and all over the high street, whether it’s shoes or floor-sweeping jackets, it’s a must-have trend.
