Post in the Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK Facebook group, Lauren shared photos of the tree frame on the Argos website, as well as what it looked like in her home.

“I’m sure most people have seen this tree by now. But for those who haven’t,” she wrote.

“I just can’t get over how good it actually is!!”

The tree in question is the Habitat 7ft Snowy Christmas tree, which retails for £80 but is currently reduced to £60 for the Black Friday sales.

“This tree is so fluffy and full and absolutely huge,” Lauren continued.

“It takes some time to pluck out all the branches and some ‘snow’ will be released.

‘It’s so worth it though!

“And once it’s done, it will look beautiful.”

The photo of the tree hanging at her home showed it with a simple black bow at the top and a wooden tree border covering the bottom.

And while she added that she “obviously still needs to put up her decorations,” others claimed the tree looked perfect as it was for an elegant, minimal Christmas.

The comments section was also filled with people weighing in on the tree, some of whom had previously purchased it themselves.

“We’ve got this tree! For £60 it’s bloody beautiful and so full!” wrote one.

“I have this tree, it’s beautiful!” another added.

“I have this tree, it is absolutely beautiful and a bargain price,” a third commented.

“I picked up this tree in the January sale last year for £37,” someone else raved.

“Is there a lot of snow?” asked another.

How do you care for your real Christmas tree?

HERE’S what you need to know when buying a real Christmas tree:

First things first: buy a jar (if it isn’t already in).

You should treat your tree like a houseplant and give it water and attention.

Make sure the container has good drainage. It’s a good idea to put something underneath to catch the excess water.

Check the soil every day to make sure it is not drying out.

If it feels dry, give it some water. If it still feels damp, leave it alone as too much water can also kill a tree.

Also check that the LED bulbs of your tree lights are not too hot, as this can burn them, and keep your tree away from radiators.

Once Christmas is over, try planting it in the garden so you can dig it up and use it again next year.

However, it is a good idea to remove it from the pot when you replant it, as large trees do not survive well in pots as their roots need room to grow.

“It’s beautiful, but with five cats I’m not sure I’d be crazy about the snow falling off easily!”

To which Lauren replied: “When you first put it on, it does come loose a bit.

“However, nothing has fallen off since then. I’ve been using it for a few days now.”

But someone else warned: “If you have a dog, check carefully as the fake snow is toxic to most dogs, I’m not sure for cats.”

“Thanks, I heard about this. But he is never left unattended in the room,” Lauren replied.

As another said, “Be careful if you have cats because the snow is poison if they ingest it.”

However, you should be careful if you have pets as the fake snow can be toxic to them if ingested
