And thanks to ASOS’s latest summer collection, you can even try out sold-out products going viral on TikTok.

The e-retail giant has long had a beauty division.

But in recent months, the brand has become increasingly active in its beauty boxes.

One of the new boxes the company has released is the ASOS X Made By Mitchell Takeover Box, which is priced at £58 but costs £20.

Made By Mitchell is a colorful makeup brand for enthusiasts and self-expression enthusiasts, with a cult following on TikTok.

So much so that the showpiece, Blursh, a multi-functional liquid blush, is often sold out.

Thanks to ASOS, you can order a Blursh in the baby pink shade Cold Heart as part of the Takeover Box.

Other products include a liquid highlighter in a silver shade and a smudge-proof lip liner in a brown shade, as well as an eyeshadow brush and a blending sponge.

BUYERS CHOICES

ASOS has released another new box: THE Face + Body Buyers Picks box, featuring £51 worth of products for just £18.

One of the six products is the nourishing Olaplex hair serum, which protects your hair against harmful external influences.

There is also a Hello Sunday lip balm with SPF 50 that softens and moisturizes your lips and protects your lips against UV rays.

This mini bottle of Urban Decay’s statement fixing spray is a steal, especially when you consider that you could pick up the bottle on its own for £16.

There’s also a tester pot of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream and a full acid peel solution from The Ordinary.

The package also includes a new mascara that Olivia Attwood loves, but we won’t reveal which one.

Are beauty boxes worth the hype?

Mia Lyndon, author of fantastic beauty products, has given her opinion on whether beauty boxes are worth the hype…

Beauty boxes are very inconsistent.

Some will save you hundreds of euros, while others will just create junk and save you just a few pounds.

Fortunately, there are a few things you can look for to ensure you get the best deal.

First, I would generally be skeptical of any box whose contents are not clearly stated.

If the packaging contains skin or hair care products, the question is whether they meet your specific needs.

Second, look carefully at the dimensions and quantities of the products you receive: are they all full-size products or mini travel products?

Often boxes contain different sizes, so please check before purchasing to avoid disappointment. Also be aware that ‘deluxe size samples’ are actually smaller than regular sizes.

It’s also worth mentioning that charity beauty boxes are often great initiatives and a great way to support good causes and stock up on some beauty products at the same time.

SKINCARE THAT CARES

For skincare fanatics, The INKEY List x ASOS Exclusive Plump & Glow Skincare Set is a winning beauty box.

It’s worth over £40 but is selling for just £20, a saving of 51%.

One of the products is the Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen SPF30, which locks in moisture, provides hydration and offers protection against UVA/UVB rays.

There’s also the Oat Cleansing Balm, which is designed to soothe and calm irritation and dryness, improve the appearance of pores, minimize blackheads and protect the skin.
