Netflix announced all these games during its Geeked Week presentation

During its Geeked Week presentation on Thursday, CNET Editors’ Choice Award winner Netflix announced a handful of new games coming soon to its gaming service. While Netflix announced some of these games at Gamescom in August — like Monument Valley 3 — others are new, like Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game.

Netflix is ​​pretty much synonymous with streaming movies and TV shows like Black Mirror and Stranger Things, but your subscription also gives you access to mobile games that you can play on your smartphone. iOS or Android device. If you subscribe to Netflix (which starts at $7 per month), you can play these and many more games without ads or in-app purchases, at no extra cost.

Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game

This 32-player party showdown features challenges fans of the series will recognize, like Red Light, Green Light, and some brand new ones. Team up with a friend to beat the competition and overcome deadly obstacles, but be aware that they may betray you in the end.

While Netflix announced that Squid Game season 2 premieres on December 26It’s unclear when the streamer will release this game. Netflix has released other games based on popular shows on or around the same date as those shows’ premieres — including games based on reality shows like Too Hot to Handle — so I’d expect this game to be available around the end of the year.

Civilization 6

While you wait for Civilization 7 to release in February, you can catch up on the series finale soon on Netflix. Build vast cities, forge alliances, and wage war across the ages in this turn-based strategy game. You can also search for games in the Netflix app by tapping the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the app and entering the name of the game.

After tapping Get Game, a pop-up will open from Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store, asking you if you want to download the game. After you confirm that action, the game will download to your device just like any other app.
