Tesco customers cry over £240 fake candle that smells like perfume

And even better, it smells expensive without you having to spend a fortune.

That’s why consumers are rushing to Tesco to get their hands on a knock-off candle that smells like a £355 perfume. And there’s a diffuser too.

The supermarket sells the luxurious fragrance in the home department of F&F.

The 230 gram candle is the Home Classic Rouge Hearts Scent, which contains a blend of lime, bergamot and amber.

Thanks to the burning time of 36 hours, the candle ensures that your home smells wonderful.

And perfume lovers claim it’s a knock-off of the £240 Baccarat Rouge perfume at John Lewis.

Baccarat Rouge also sells a similar scented candle which costs £95 at Selfridges.

The candle and diffusers, both costing £8.50 each, look luxurious as they come in a red glass.

A customer called Megan Fowler took to TikTok to share a video of the bargain find.

She filmed it with a soundtrack featuring the song Obsessed, which is about how ‘in love’ they are.

She also wrote: “Who doesn’t love a good dupe?”

The video has since gone viral and has been viewed over 173,000 times, with many people commenting to share their thoughts.

Many tagged their friends and said they “needed this candle.”

Others put a ‘love face’ on it, while yet another said: ‘I’ll buy it right away.’

Another added: “The black one is beautiful.”

Not only the home department is a popular store for shoppers, but also the clothing department.

They’re also flocking to Tesco to get their hands on the popular F&F combination, which is now also available in a sleek black version.

The F&F Cornelli set made a splash in spring with its stunning cream colour. This season it is back with an autumnal touch: the same loose-fitting, floral embroidered design.

The ensemble consists of a long sleeved shirt with a collar and matching flowing black trousers. It is an ideal choice for the office or a casual lunch with friends, especially when combined with a thick black boots.

The main fabric of the outfit is now black, accented with cream floral embroidery. Each piece costs £22.50, making the full set available for £45.
