Last year, the debut of The Golden Bachelor ushered in a new era for the reality franchise, introducing a version of the dating competition geared toward older adults. Now, ABC is airing The Golden Bachelorette, the latest spinoff in the series.

Viewers watched as Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner searched for love among 23 candidates before choosing Theresa Nist to marry. But Joan Vassos was among the women vying for his affections, and she left the show early. She now gets a second chance as The Golden Bachelorette, where she meets 24 potential suitors who want to win her heart.

Fans may remember her backstory: Vassos is a Maryland school principal who was widowed after 32 years of marriage. She has four children and three grandchildren and loves the music of Elton John.

Will she find someone worthy? Here’s when and where to tune in to The Golden Bachelorette.
