Tragedy as Groundsman dies at the age of 55 at iconic F1 Grand Prix Track

A constituent at the Red Bull Ring died tragically after he fell into a pond.

The 55-year-old fell into a water holder on the Spielberg circuit Austria On Wednesday morning after losing his foot during the operation of an engine Sycthe.

The Grondsman fell 23 feet in the Basin, where he desperately tried to find himself away.

A colleague and a Police Officer jumped in the basin to try to save him.

But they were unable to pull him out and unfortunately he was drowned.

Attempts to save the man were initially hindered by the dark water in the basin, which is 23 feet deep.

And it was only when the voluntary fire brigade arrived on stage that he could be.

First Responders tried to resuscitate the man after taking him out of the basin.

But they were not successful with their attempts to bring him back and he was declared dead on the spot.

An intervention team from the Red Cross was used to support the victim’s colleagues.

Red Bull still has to issue a statement about the tragic incident.
