Royal Ascot was hit by a tragedy on the second racing day after the death of the Horst Harry girl.
Harry’s girl broke during the opening race of the day, the Queen Mary Stakes.
Images showed Harry’s girl at the back of the field, reportedly after a leg injury.
The race went on with the true love of Aidan O’Brien who came up as the winner.
Royal Ascot confirmed the death of Harry’s girl on social media.
“Unfortunately, Harry’s girl suffered a deadly injury during the Queen Mary Stakes,” was an explanation.

“Our thoughts are currently going to all connections.”
The two -year -old Merrieveeulen, trained by Richard Hannon, had participated in only her third race.
Harry’s girl had won debut in Newmarket in April, before he finished second in York last month in a listed race.
