Tragic Cause of Death of Slash’s Stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight at 25 Revealed

Authorities in Los Angeles have announced the cause of death of Slash’s stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight on July 19 at the age of 25.

Los Angeles County Coroner a statement released On Thursday, he said Lucy-Bleu Knight’s cause of death was hydrogen sulfide poisoning and that the “manner of death was suicide.”

According to officials, Knight was found unresponsive in a private residence by police during a welfare check on July 19 and was pronounced dead at 3 p.m. local time.

A deputy coroner conducted the examination on July 22 and confirmed the cause of death on Thursday, officials said.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website states that hydrogen sulfide is “a colorless, flammable, and highly toxic gas” and that symptoms of acute exposure “include nausea, headache, delirium, balance disorders, tremors, convulsions, and skin and eye irritation.”

According to the CDC, “inhaling high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide can cause extremely rapid loss of consciousness and death.”

The musical hero announced the death of his beloved stepdaughter in a heartbreaking statement on Instagram on July 22.

“My heart is permanently broken,” Slash said in an emotional Instagram post on July 27, sharing a poignant selfie of Lucy-Bleu that expressed his grief. “I will never miss you again and remember what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity and beauty you have always been…and continue to be.”

He continued, “The brightest light in the lives of so many who loved you so much. I find comfort in the hope that you are now at peace. I will love you forever.”

Slash had canceled four dates of his solo SERPENT Tour in mourning his devastating loss.

Slash’s Instagram post announcing her passing read: “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California on July 19, 2024.”

The statement continued: ‘Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer and a charming, endearing, kind soul.

“The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that speculation on social media be kept to a minimum as the family grieves and processes this devastating loss.”

“Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly large ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my bad job as Lucy-Bleu. Peace.”

MailOnline contacted Slash’s representatives for comment at the time.

Just hours before the tragic announcement, Slash canceled a series of tour dates due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The message read: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, the SERPENT tour unfortunately has to cancel the following shows. Refunds are available at points of sale.

‘The SERPENT tour will resume in Toronto on July 28, 2024 at Budweiser Stage. We love our fans and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.’
