Newcastle Move for Trafford
Newcastle hopes to complete a £ 30 million deal to sign James Trafford after reopening conversations with Burnley.
The 22-year-old keeper saw a £ 16 million switch to St James’ Park last summer, but has remained the best target of Eddie Howe.
Ex-Manchester City Stopper Trafford stayed in Turf Moor and enjoyed an incredible campaign when his 29 clean sheets helped the Clarets to immediately return to the Premier League.
Despite that promotion, the English international still wants the move as much as the Magpies.
Sunsport understands that representatives of both clubs are now in discussions and how hopeful is that he can finally land his husband.
Last week, Trafford told Ben Foster’s fozcast podcast how he missed a “brilliant” movement 12 months ago, but had no problem staying with the Scott Parker team as soon as it couldn’t happen.
Maignan talks Halt
Chelsea has stopped conversations about a deal to sign Mike Maignan, but will continue to chase Jamie Gittens.
The blues had hoped both on time for the club World Cup, which will start next week, but deals will not be agreed on time.
Chelsea is not willing to pay the asking price of AC Milan of more than £ 20 million for Maignan, since he has only been over his deal for a year.
Their last proposal was for a reimbursement of approximately £ 12 million. Maignan has made his wish to clearly move to Stamford Bridge and tells Milan that he will not renew his deal.
Chelsea opened conversations after he was warned about Maignan’s desire to move, but refuses to give to their appreciation.
There remains the chance that negotiations can pick up in the window later if the asking price of Milan comes down.
If that didn’t work, Chelsea could hold the next summer for a free transfer conversations.
The possibility that Djordje Petrovic will go the other way as part of a deal has been discussed.

Spurs close to Frank
Tottenham is close to closing a deal with Brentford for manager Thomas Frank.
According to Sky Sports, that claims that traces are getting closer when compensating with the bees.
There is still the future of different employees of Frank’s back room that are being completed.
But further progress is expected on Wednesday and the hope is that a step can be closed before the end of the week.

First transfer window explained
His first half is an end in this unusual two -part summer transfer window.
The reason that this year’s summer market is different is the renewed World Cup Club, which will start next Sunday.
To accommodate clubs that players want to sign prior to the controversial tournament, the transfer window was opened early on 1 June.
But because of the rules of FIFA that determine the transfer windows in a calendar year when combined no longer than 16 weeks, a break had to be inserted – that is why the first window was closed tonight at 7 p.m. BST.
The first 10 -day period only applies to the 20 national associations with teams that play in the club World Cup to enable players to register players for the group phases of the competition.
This includes England, with Manchester City and Chelsea who have to participate in the tournament.
The summer transfer window reopens on June 16 and will remain open until 1 September.
Teams participating in the World Cup club that sign players from this date can register for the knockout phases of the competition.
Cherki Deal Sealed
Manchester City announced the signing of Rayan Cherki van Lyon in a £ 34 million deal.
Cherki put Pen on paper with a five -year contract and plays for City in the club World Cup.
This is a dream for me. To be honest, to become a member of a club like Manchester City and to get the chance to make the next step in my career, is something very, very special here.
I worked so hard for this all my life. I love this sport, and I can’t wait to further develop here in Manchester with Pep and his back room staff.
Everyone knows how good city is – they have been so successful for many years now. The responsibility to help keep winning the team is something that I want to embrace.
I would only leave Lyon for a project that I really believe in and everything at City suggests that I can develop my game and help the team to be successful in the future. I can’t wait to show city fans what I can do.
