Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold fought back tears while Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund gave homage to Diogo Jota.
A moment of silence was held before the kick-off at the FIFA Club World Cup Quarter final on Saturday evening in honor of Diogo Jota.
The competition took place slightly less than 72 hours after Jota and his brother Andre Silva died in a car accident in North Spain.
Alexander-Arnold was a teammate of Jota in Liverpool for five years and he was moved during the tribute.

Jota died next to his brother when his Lamborghini had a band, catching another vehicle on the A -52 in Cernadilla near Zamora – only ten miles across the border from Portugal.
