Trolls condemned me for dating a prisoner, but now we’re married
A WOMAN has hit back at internet trolls who called her “delusional” for having a relationship with a prisoner on another continent.
Lorra Stewart announced on TikTok that she is now happily married to the inmate, proving the haters wrong.
“You are so crazy that he is in prison on another continent, it will never be okay again,” she said, imitating the words of the trolls.
She then shared a clip of herself and her husband looking very happy on their wedding day.
“What a lie,” she said, hitting back at the hateful comment.
In a second video, Lorra, who is originally from Germany but lives in Dubai, says she met her husband through a pen pal website called Write A Prisoner.

One day, feeling bored and homesick, Lorra decided to scroll through the website. She saw an American prisoner who caught her attention. His profile said he was into poetry, an interest Lorra also shares.
She sent him a message saying she would like to see some of his poetry, and when she read it she thought it was beautiful.
The couple continued to message and chat over the phone until they soon fell in love.
“It took a lot of effort, but we really wanted it to work,” she said.
After six months of chatting, Lorra decided she wanted to meet her husband and traveled to the US to visit the prison.
Since then, the couple has visited each other 14 times and taken many photos together so they can cherish their memories.
After only seven months together, the couple decided to get married. The ceremony took place in prison.
Lorra’s partner wore a white T-shirt and tracksuit on his wedding day, while she opted for a more traditional white dress.
She now has until 2025 to move to the US when her husband will be released from prison.
Lorra spoke about the challenges in her relationship: “This type of relationship is not easy and I would not recommend it to anyone because of the enormous challenges.
