Western Bulldogs Forward Jamarra Ulle-Hagan has jumped for the first time since his return from his return to Whitten Oval since he took a leave seven weeks ago.

Ulle-Hagan brought the playing group of the dogs on Monday, in a movement that could open the door for the troubled attacker to return to action this year.

The 23-year-old also participated in a slight training session, but could still be for weeks from a possible play comeback at VFL level.

Ulle-Hagan has not played a match this season while he has to deal with personal problems and has not been able to train regularly with the Bulldogs since the end of last year.

The Pick 2020 no. 1 concept recently visited a health retreat in the north NSW In an attempt to get his life and career back on the right track.

He also spent time in Sydney.

Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge raised the prospect last week that Ulle-Hagan resumed his 67 game AFR career at the club.

“He came back from a month of everything he can to have some sort of reorientation and find out what the next step is in his life and the next steps, and the proposal to play some football is there,” Beveridge said on Wednesday.

‘Whether it is in the distance or whether it is removed a month and a half, I couldn’t tell you.

“But we hope to have him back in the football club soon and that is about everything I can tell you.”

The AFF should approve the Ulle-Hagan comeback because he has been on the mental health plan of the competition since the leave.

Ulle-Hagan, who was contracted until the end of the following season, has also been the subject of trade speculation this year, whereby the Sydney Swans considered potential vovers.

However, Beveridge recently wiped out suggestions that Ulle-Hagan could be on the move at the end of the season and explained him ‘our player’.

“I have no thoughts that he won’t be here next year,” Beveridge said earlier this month.

Ulle-Hagan led the bulldogs with a career-best 43 goals in 22 performances last year, but has not seen at any level since the final defeat of the elimination against Hawthorn.

His return to the club comes with the Bulldogs (7-6) who are ninth on the ladder, one victory outside the top eight, for a collision with Richmond on Sunday.
