National AfghanistanChad, Congo, Equatorial -Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, IranLibya, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen will be excluded from entering the United States under the new proclamation.

Further to that ban, citizens of Burundi, CubaLaos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela will be partially limited to travel.

White house Deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson confirmed the report on Wednesday evening and wrote on X: ‘President Trump fulfills his promise to protect Americans against dangerous foreign actors who want to come to our country and harm us.

‘These commons-restrictions are land-specific and include places that do not highlight properly, show high visa rates or do not share identity and threat information.

“President Trump will always act in the interest of the American people and their safety.”

“The United States must ensure that admitted alien beings and aliens who are otherwise already present in the United States, do not have a hostile attitude towards its citizens, culture, government, institutions or foundation, and not arguing, helping or supporting designated foreign terrorists or other threats for our national security.”
