Tummaville crash: Teen driver dies and passenger, 17, miraculously escapes with minor injuries after ute hits tree and bursts into flames

A teenage driver has died after his pickup truck crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

The 18-year-old’s Toyota was traveling east on Owens Scrub Road towards Tummaville, near Toowoomba in Queensland, when he lost control. He died on the spot.

A 17-year-old passenger miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
