Turning 26 and having trouble finding health insurance? Tell us about it.
A hard-fought provision of the Affordable Care Act allows young adults to stay on their family’s insurance plan until age 26. But after that, those without employer insurance are faced with a series of complicated choices, including whether to shop the insurance plan exchanges, apply for Medicaid or roll the dice and remain uninsured.
Are you a young adult confused about navigating the exchanges used to choose plans? Have you purchased a plan on an ACA exchange and discovered that it doesn’t cover health care? Have you gotten married or taken a job just to get insurance? Have you decided to go without coverage?
