Two men charged over alleged stabbing of Yusuf Khan, one half of the glamorous couple with Cynthia Lu behind failed Perth construction company Modco Residential
Two men have now been charged with the alleged stabbing of a businessman and a member of the elite.
Yusuf Khan, 34, was reportedly attacked near the intersection of Newcastle Street and Lord Street in Perth while sitting in his Mercedes-Benz at 5pm on Thursday.
Mr. Khan is half of the glamorous couple behind Modco Residential, a housing company that went bankrupt in July 2023.
Police suspect that two knife-wielding men targeted Khan as he waited at a red light.
He was sent to He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with leg injuries and has since been discharged.
One man, 41-year-old Pham Dang Nguyen, has already been charged for his alleged role in the incident.
The Bayswater man was charged with one count of unlawful wounding and one count of common assault.
Another 37-year-old from Dianella was also charged Friday with one count of unlawful wounding and one count of simple assault.

Mr Nguyen has not yet filed a request and has been denied bail by the court. Friday at Perth District Court.
He will appear in court via video link on September 20.
The man from Dianella will appear in court on Saturday.
Mr. Khan and his wife, Cynthia Lu, launched Modco in August 2020, promising construction projects with a 20-week turnaround time.
After the builder announced that the money had run out, tradesmen claimed they were still owed wages. Half-finished buildings were left lying around the city as clients struggled with insurance claims.
At the height of the couple’s construction career, they reported $80 million in gross revenue from 84 clients within a year of launching Modco Residential.
Some 50 creditors were ordered to pay $4 million, including Ms Lu herself, who claimed she was $2.1 million behind as the main shareholder.
