Alex Pereira will be hoping to make it a third successful title defense in just 175 days as he puts his light heavyweight crown on the line against Khalil Rountree Jr. during the main event of UFC 307 on Saturday.

The Brazilian star reclaimed the title from Jiří Procházka last November, with “Poatan” defeating Procházka again in a rematch fight in his last Octagon appearance at UFC 303 in June.

Next up is California’s Khalil Rountree Jr., a big puncher with a 13-5-1 record who is on a run of five straight wins.

The bill also lists the women’s bantamweight title fight as the main support event, with defending champion Raquel Pennington postponing her showdown with Julianna Peña.

If you find yourself unable to watch UFC 307 locally due to improperly applied blackout restrictionsyou may need another way to watch the fight and that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to prevent your ISP from throttling your speeds on fight night by encrypting your traffic, and it’s a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the matchup. So if your ISP or mobile carrier has given you an IP address that incorrectly reflects your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, non-blackout area. Most VPNs, like ours Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN” target=”_blankmake it very easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in every country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. • With four variables at play – your ISP, browser, video streaming provider, and VPN – your experience and success streaming UFC 307 may vary.
  • If you don’t see the location you want as the default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting into combat after turning on your VPN and setting it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is one in the correct display area. If not, you may need to change the physical address registered to your account. Second, some smart TVs (like Roku) don’t have VPN apps that you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll need to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you use (like your phone) so that every device on the Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases, with Smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you may be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your registered email address for your Smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help as both devices appear to be in the right location.
  • And don’t forget that browsers can often give away location despite using a VPN, so make sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.
