UFC Middenweight Bruno Silva was rushed to the hospital after he seemed to have dented his skull during his collision with Marc-Andre Barriault.
The veteran 185-ponder suffered a vicious ko loss of the first round for the Canadian on the UFC 315 Prelims in Montreal Early on Sunday morning.
Barriault sent Silva to the canvas with a cruel barrage of elbows against the fence, one of which visibly affected the skull of the Brazilian.
Silva, 35, was immediately transported to the hospital after he had been worried about the Octagon for a few minutes.
Medical staff took him out of the cage on a stretcher before sending him for further assessment.
And luckily Silva gave a positive update about his state from the hospital, where his X -rays were “negative” and imaging scans were “normal”.
He wrote about his Instagram Story in Portuguese: “Goodnight, just passing by to let you know that I am doing well.
“I went to the hospital and had tests, everything is fine with my health.
“I received many messages from people who really like me, it was fine.
“I wanted to win to give my testimony, of everything I experienced and managed to get up, but it’s worth living.

“I am a winner. This is not the moment that my story and my legacy will end.”
Barriault was in the clouds with his company victory, but admits that he was seriously concerned about the health of Silva when he saw him lying on the canvas.
The 35-year-old said in his press conference after the fight: “I still have goose bumps.
“[But then] I realized that he was still on the floor after a few minutes.
“Then I felt that something is wrong.”
Silva will probably be unemployed soon because he has lost his last five UFC Trips on the bouncing.
