‘Unbelievably amazing’ shout Primark fans as they spot new ’90s-inspired Christmas pajamas
OCTOBER has only just started, but the shops are already full of festive goodies.
From Christmas decorations to chocolate selection boxes, there’s plenty on offer for those looking to get organized early.
And shoppers are in frenzy as they spot the first festive pajamas on offer at Primark this year.
The ’90s-inspired Christmas pajamas in question have a The Simpsons theme and feature the entire cartoon family.
Even better: the Christmas nightwear is available in sizes for the whole family.
Primark bosses say: “There’s nothing better than waking up in festive pajamas on Christmas morning, and this The Simpsons pajama set could be the pajama set of the year!
Both pieces are made in cheerful red and decorated with images of Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie, dressed in classic Christmas clothing.
“It consists of a round neck top with long sleeves with turn-ups and the matching bottoms have an elasticated waist and turn-up legs for a cozy feeling while napping.
“Adorned with other seasonal motifs, you’ll be happy to know that the whole family can get involved thanks to our matching The Simpsons family PJs available for all ages!”
The £7.50 children’s version is available in sizes 18 months to 15 years.
If your toddler is younger, you can also buy a cute pajama version for just five euros, from newborn to two years old.
Elsewhere in the store, the matching women’s pajamas cost €13 and are available in sizes XXS to XXL, while the men’s version is slightly cheaper at just €11.
Primark’s Braehead store has since gone viral after sharing a clip of their Christmas range on TikTok, with more than 62,000 views in one day.
They said, “Family pajamas in stores now.”
And people can’t wait to channel their inner Springfield in the colorful sleepwear.
“I get the Simpsons,” said one.
A second wrote: “They are class.”
A third echoed: “Freaking awesome.”
‘I keep checking, [our Primark] I don’t have them,” shouted a fourth.
A fifth chimed in: “I need an adult version of the [Simpsons] those.”
Meanwhile, a sixth pleaded: “Christmas shopping soon??”
Primark’s best buys for autumn
Going to Primark soon? Keep an eye on these articles.
Here, Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals her top 6 purchases at Primark this autumn.
Jacket£60
I know what you’re thinking: ‘£60 for Primark?’ Yes, it’s a higher price tag than we’re used to from Primark, but it’s worth every penny.
It’s from their Edit range, which is more premium than the rest of their collection and is built to last.
It’s a blended wool blend that’s durable and warm, plus a timeless, straight silhouette that’s slightly oversized and will last this season and for years to come.
Bag, £16
Big bags are back… Finally in a big way.
This tote bag exudes luxury with its crocodile effect and burnt orange colour, plus it’s ideal for packing your laptop, lunch, spare shoes, handbag – basically everything you need for the day – all for £16.
Jacket£32
Field jackets can be found on the backs of celebrities and catwalk models this season, with designer brands Barbour, Burberry and Bottega all favoring the functional look.
Great for wearing over jeans or contrasting with a floral or flowy dress, they are the perfect transitional jacket.
Dress£18,
You may have seen, heard and read that leopard print isn’t going anywhere in the fall, so to define the trend, this dress is a must.
Sleeves? Bill. Midi length? Bill. Ultra flattering square neck? Bill. It has it all.
Combine with black knee-high boots or your favorite sneakers during the day and dress up with gold heels and accessories in the evening.
Jeans£16
Barrel, balloon, horseshoe: whatever you want to call them, this is this season’s must-have pant shape.
I tried Primark’s pair and they fit like a dream, are comfortable and flattering.
So if you don’t think you have anything that’s quite on trend, swapping your favorite denim for this style will bring you right up to date.
Boots, £24
It’s boot season and instead of feeling like you have to buy one in every color, length and height, it’s best to stick with a pair that you can wear with the majority of your wardrobe.
My jaw nearly hit the floor when I saw that this black, knee-high block heel with flat point and side zip (so no tug-of-war to get them off at the end of the day) was just £24.
If you buy one thing this season, it should be these.
