A new study has unveiled the least busy islands in Europe where tourists do not fight for space.
And Malta is officially the most busy European islands with 38,700 nights per km2.
SpainThe islands are the following on the list of Lanzarote the most busy (21,673 overnight stays per km2) and Ibiza and Forenta Next (17,183 overnight stays per km2).
Tenerife and Gran Canaria are also among the most busy island destinations in Europe.
But where can tourists escape from the crowd?
According to the research, Svalbard of the Bookretreats.com team is the least crowded island in Europe, with only 2.4 tourists for every KM2.
The archipelago, located between Noord -Norwegen and the North Pole, is quite remote, so the lack of crowds is not a complete surprise.
But the next one on the list is the beautiful aland -archipel, an autonomous territory under the Finnish sovereignty. It only has 269 nights for every KM2.

To reach the Aland archipelago from the United Kingdom, tourists can fly to Helsinki and then catch a ferry to Mariehamn.
And although Aland may not be the hottest summer destination, the temperatures can reach 25 ° C in July and August.
