‘You may be physically gone, but you will be with the children forever and I will be. Not only in the photos in the entire house, but in our hearts and our thoughts.

‘As a mother you are irreplaceable for Oliver and Madeleine, but I will always raise them in the same way as if you are still here by my side.

‘You are not physically here, but I notice small things that help me guide when I get lost that I know you have played a role.

‘The children are happy, so damn smart and cheeky, all in one. I know how proud you would be on both and I will tell them forever, even if they are just in bed to hug their rabbits.

‘I’m so sorry for what happened. I’m so sorry the children don’t have you. I am sorry that our families do not have to post you, as I said to your mother just after this happened.

‘Not a second one goes by on the day on which I didn’t want me to be instead and the only thing I am good with is that I am the one who suffers in this situation, and it is not you. I don’t think I have to say this because it is so clear.
