Aston Villa is ready to cancel Philippe Coutinho’s contract for about 654 days after he last played for them.
The playmaker, 32, is currently on loan on the Brazilian side Vasco da Gama, where he scored eight times in 43 outings.
Coutinhowho also spent on loan last season on the Qatari side Al-Duhail, did not play Villa Since the start of the 2023/24 campaign – exactly 654 days ago.
But he has left for a year to his lucrative contract of £ 125,000 a week, which Coutinho signed in 2022 after his shock loan of Barcelona permanent for £ 17 million.
