Vivo T3 Ultra India launch date, design and key specs revealed

Vivo T3 Ultra will be arriving in India later this month. The company has revealed the handset’s launch date, design and some of its key features. The availability details of the phone have also been confirmed. Notably, Vivo had recently launched the T3 Pro handset in the country. The upcoming Vivo T3 Ultra will be joining the existing Vivo T3-lineup that includes Vivo T3 Pro, Vivo T3 5G, Vivo T3 Lite 5G and Vivo T3x 5G.

The Vivo T3 Ultra will be launched in India on September 12, the company confirmed via an X-post. A Flipkart microsite as the handset has also gone live, confirming the phone’s availability on the e-commerce site. It will also be available for purchase on the Vivo India e-store.

Vivo also gave a sneak peek at the design of the upcoming Vivo T3 Ultra along with the reveal of its launch date. The teaser shows a rear camera module that resembles that of the Vivo V40 series that was unveiled in India in August this year. A slightly raised vertical pill-shaped island with a circular module towards the top houses dual camera units on the rear alongside an LED flash.

The front panel of the Vivo T3 Ultra can be seen sporting a 3D curved display with very thin bezels and a centered hole-punch slot at the top. The right edge houses the volume rocker and the power button. The phone can be seen in a Green color scheme.

Vivo T3 Ultra Features

The Vivo T3 Ultra will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 12GB of additional storage. It is said to have scored 1,600K+ on the AnTuTu benchmark test. The phone will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support. It is claimed to be the fastest 3D curved display in the segment.

The company has also confirmed that the Vivo T3 Ultra will feature a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired flash charging support. It will be 7.58mm thick and the company claims that it will be the thinnest curved-display smartphone to feature a 5,500mAh battery. The handset will also come with an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance. The microsite adds that the details of the phone’s Sony-backed rear camera setup will be revealed on September 9.
