Vivo X200’s low-light camera announced on social media
The Vivo X200 series is expected to launch in China next month and will consist of two smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, a company official took to social media to tease the camera capabilities of the alleged standard Vivo X200 handset, particularly that of the rumored new telephoto sensor by showcasing its 10x zoom capability in low-light conditions. Notably, the specifications of the Vivo X200 series were recently spotted on the Chinese certification website, hinting at its imminent launch in the country.

In a after Taking to Chinese social media platform Weibo, Han Boxiao, Vivo’s China Product Manager, shared a snapshot reportedly taken by the Vivo X200. The image is said to not only showcase the low-light performance of the handset’s alleged new telephoto sensor, but also offers a glimpse of the new Moon Mode.
However, the official indicated that the moon in the image has been artistically altered.

In another leak, tipster Digital Chat Station reports (translated from Chinese) shared Alleged camera specifications of the Vivo X200. The alleged handset could feature a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto macro lens.
According to the tipster, the camera unit will support 10x “fusion super-resolution algorithm,” which may just be another term for 10x hybrid zoom.
Previous reports have suggested that the Vivo X200 could feature a 6.3-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution. It is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and pack a 5,500mAh – 5,600mAh “super-large” battery with support for wireless charging.
In terms of design, the alleged Vivo X200 is said to sport a slim body, measuring around 8.xmm in thickness. The rear shell of the smartphone could feature a centrally placed circular module surrounded by a silver ring. The display is speculated to feature curved edges and a centered hole-punch slot for the front-facing selfie camera.
