Walmart Deals Anti-Prime Day event offers incredible savings on tech, home goods and more

Bargain hunters who missed out on the Fourth of July sale need not worry: a new Walmart Deals event has just launched, featuring huge savings on tech, home goods, summer essentials and more to rival Amazon Prime Day. The first deals have already started rolling in at Amazon , and we expect to see more of these “anti-Prime Day” sales rolling out at various competitors as we get closer to the main event.

If you’re a Walmart Plus member, you’ll get a massive five-hour head start, as the sale kicks off at 12pm ET for members. Everyone else can take advantage of the deals starting at 5pm ET, but keep in mind that some of the best deals may have limited supplies, so you could miss out on some top deals.

Do I need to be a Walmart Plus member to participate in the Walmart Deals event?

Walmart Plus members get early access to the event, which starts on July 8 at 12 p.m. ET. You don’t need to be a member to shop the sale, though, as the event opens to everyone at 5 p.m. ET. The only caveat is that some of the best deals may sell out by then, as supplies are limited.

When does the Walmart Deals event end?

The Walmart Deals event runs from July 8 through July 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET. That’s before Prime Day, which starts on July 16.

Should I shop Walmart Deals or Amazon Prime Day?

Both sales are great opportunities to score top deals. The retailer has called the Walmart Deals event its “biggest savings event ever,” with up to 50% off a wide range of items. And Amazon Prime Day is historically Amazon’s biggest sale of the year, so both are great chances to save on tech, home goods, school supplies, and more.
