Watch the hilarious moment mom tries to organize a ‘cute’ Halloween shoot with her baby

THEY come out every year: beautiful pictures of little babies in pumpkins on the occasion of Halloween.

But one mother got more than a little stressed trying to set up a similar photo shoot for her baby.

Alive went to TikTok to share a photo slideshow of the hilarious moment, writing about it, “‘Said the baby in the pumpkin,’ they said.”

“It’s getting worse,” she warned.

She added that she “also only had my six-year-old available to take photos.”

The photos showed Liv in a pumpkin patch with her little one, who looked adorable in a pumpkin hat.

And when they got home, Liv tried to take THE photo – after making a big hole for his body and small holes for the legs at the bottom of the pumpkin.

She also hung an autumn-colored rug behind him to create the perfect photo backdrop.

But her son didn’t seem particularly impressed, and his face became increasingly distressed as the photos went on.

Liv looked like she was trying to soothe the baby as she held his arm tightly and placed him correctly in the pumpkin.

Despite all her hard work setting up the photo shoot, the resulting photos were more hilarious than cute.

Especially since her six-year-old had even managed to influence one of the snaps, making it look like his little brother had two heads.

“And that’s the trend I will never do again,” Liv added in the caption.

“I never shared these photos, haha!”

People were quick to comment on the TikTok, with one person writing: “Do them every year, they fit – you’ll laugh when you look back!”

To which Liv said: “I feel like I traumatized him haha.

“He’s 1 now, but I don’t think I could do that… I was so stressed haha!”

“I put a yellow towel in the pumpkin so it didn’t get cold and slimy, and I played peek-a-boo on my phone,” said another.

How to Save on Halloween

CUTOUTS WILL NOT RETAIN: Once carved, pumpkins only last three to five days before they begin to rot. So wait until a day or two before Halloween to carve yours to make sure you don’t have to buy a replacement.

Chilling engravings: Cut your pumpkin properly the first time. Download free templates from Hobbycraft to ensure you don’t make any mistakes.

DEVILISH CHEAP DECORATIONS: Make creepy spider webs with old twine or twine.

PAY LESS FOR FACE PAINT: Cut costs by using your old eyeliners and eye shadows, and dab on some talcum powder if you need a ghostly white shade.

REDUCED PRICE CANDY: Before you buy candy to give out, clean out your cupboards and see what you have. If you need more, buy bulk offers and compare the price per kilo before buying.

TERRIBLE BAD LUCK: Ask your guests to each bring a delicious themed dish to your party to keep hosting costs low.

Chilling tunes: Head to YouTube for a terrifyingly good free playlist. There are dozens of channels with hour-long music mixes.

HAVE A SPOOKY SWISH: Swishing (or swapping clothes with friends) is an easy way to get a new wardrobe. Have a spooky swing before Halloween to swap costumes for kids and adults.

Frightening Freebies: Sign up for a free local Halloween event. Check your local Nextdoor or Facebook page, or search eventbrite.co.uk for ideas.

Damn good deal: Don’t look for expensive fake blood. Make your own edible version instead. You can use it for cakes and to decorate costumes.

SHOP ON NOVEMBER 1: Get organized and score next year’s bargains by hitting the stores the day after Halloween. Remember to buy your children’s costumes one size larger so they can grow.

“It was a beautiful shot in the end, but it started with a lot of screaming haha!”

“Make a video and then take a screenshot while pausing for good photos,” a third suggested.

“I have some of the best photos of my girls doing this.”

“Good advice, wish I had tried that haha!” Liv giggled.
