A FASHION influencer has stunned people by ditching her ‘vulgar’ style and embracing a more ‘classic’ wardrobe.

Style guru Antonia Higham’s followers will recognise her for the effortlessly chic look of the fashion-forward woman. But while she may now exude elegance, it wasn’t always that way.

Before her epic glow-down — a term used to emphasize natural beauty — the red-haired beauty looked completely different than she does now, as revealed in a video on TikTok.

Years ago, you would see fashion lovers from the UK following the latest trends, such as mini latex dresses with a fuller bust and a tanned complexion covered in fake tan.

Often the ‘trashy’ garments also had a high slit, so that her muscular legs were shown off in shiny heels. Antonia also seemed to love heavy make-up.

The young beauty styled her long locks in waves and covered her face with cakey makeup, piles of contour and bronzer for a sleek look, thick brows, a dark eye makeup look and glossy lips.

She showed other favorites in her wardrobe in the clipincluding tight-fitting neon dresses with thin spaghetti straps and a glittering two-piece set with high-waisted shorts and strappy gladiator shoes.

According to the young woman, who now describes her old style as “vulgar,” she was simply following the trends that were in fashion at the time.

Until Antonia found her true, authentic style and became ”the refined woman he could never have had”.

The fashion guru, whose profile, @antoniahighamhas amassed nearly 480,000 followers, ditched her gem-encrusted bras, donned massive diamond hoop earrings and completely overhauled her look.

While she used to blindly follow the latest trends, Antonia is now all about the so-called ‘old money’ glamour, where quality is more important than quantity.

The influencer still wears dresses, but they are more elegant and have additional pearl accessories, such as long dresses.

Her beauty routine has also undergone a huge transformation: the days of dazzling highlighter and intense contouring are long gone.

Antonia is unrecognizable from her old, ‘tasteless’ habits and heavy eyelashes. Even social media users are amazed by the big difference.

Thousands of people responded to the comments and shared their thoughts about her ‘level-up journey’, which went viral on the platform.

One fan of the epic makeover said: “You look so stylish now, and yes, that’s a step in the right direction.”

How to Look Chic on a Budget

Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger and beauty journalist Samantha Silver showed how to make your outfits more stylish without spending hundreds of euros.

  1. Never spend money on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection of fashionable jeans that follow the current trends”. The retailer offers a wide range of sizes from UK 6 – UK 18 and three leg lengths – with prices starting at an affordable £25.
  2. There are no rules for jewelry: ”Get something at a flea market or thrift store, score on Vinted and eBay, buy something from the clothing section of your local supermarket when you go shopping or have a look in clothing stores on the high street.”
  3. Don’t forget the second-hand sites: With the rise of second-hand sites like Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse not to buy – or sell – second-hand clothes. Gemma, for example, managed to get her hands on a pair of chic Chanel sunglasses for just £17.

Someone else agreed, writing: “Your elegant appearance makes you look like a duchess.”

”Beautiful from both sides! Glad you found yourself, that’s all that matters, darling,” was a third thought.

“That’s impossible! I’ve been following you for a while,” one loyal fan couldn’t believe his eyes.

”Never thought you dressed differently when you were younger. Level-up completed.”
