SHOPPERS are rushing to their local Primark store to buy nightwear from a nostalgic children’s series.
And with prices starting from just £2, it’s not hard to see why the Primark collection is hard to resist.

The budget retailer is now selling a collection of Sesame Street nightwear and accessories, so you’re ready for chilly nights out.
Sesame Street is a popular 1980s TV series featuring classic puppets such as Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster.
From soft socks to make-up bags and onesies, Primark has it all.
Fans of the children’s show can celebrate their love of the series by purchasing soft socks for just £2 a pair, and comfy slippers for £5 a pair.
There’s also a red, fluffy Elmo make-up bag available for £8, which is perfect for sleepovers.
The onesies come in four variations, including Cookie Monster, Elmo, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch and cost £24 each.
Primark bosses say: “Take a trip back in time with this Sesame Street onesie!
“Perfect for transforming into your favorite childhood character, this option resembles the grumpiest resident on the block: Oscar the Grouch.
“It has a borg texture for a cozy feel that’s enhanced by the long sleeves and fitted cuffs, just what you want to throw on after a long day. It comes in his signature green and features Sesame Street embroidery on the chest, while the hood is decorated with his big eyes and fluffy orange eyebrows to bring this icon to life.
“Complete with a zip front with a character charm, you can’t help but smile at this comfy all-in-one suit (much to Oscar’s chagrin).”
Primark shared a video of the new range on TikTok and it was a hit with shoppers.
“This is the sign that you and your best friend should go buy matching Sesame Street onesies,” they captioned the post.
Many people responded enthusiastically to the comments and couldn’t wait to get their hands on the collection.
