‘We’re crying too,’ people shout as eyelash stylist shows client’s ‘painful’ fake lashes
A LASH specialist left people shocked after proudly showing off the mega-sized false lashes she gave to a client.
Although many beauty enthusiasts prefer a natural look, long, thick lashes are still very much in fashion.
One of the people helping makeup enthusiasts create a glamorous look is eyelash stylist Ingrid Marc from Brazil’s Central West region.
The beautiful brunette regularly shows her work on TikTok, where her page now has almost 22,000 followers.
While her clients may be happy with the stunning makeover, one such video recently took the popular platform by storm – but for all the wrong reasons.
The now viral videothat has been viewed more than 3.6 million times in less than a week, Ingrid (@cilios_ingridmarcielly) zoom in on a woman’s face as she poses with the fake photos.
While it’s not known how much the beauty lover paid for the visit, Ingrid revealed that she opted for ‘mega volume’ eyelash extensions.
Prices for this vary depending on location and salon, but on average a full mega volume set costs around £140.
In the clip, the woman beams and seems very happy with the result, despite her bloodshot eyes that also contain tears.
Thousands of shocked social media users immediately saw tears in their eyes and flocked to the comments.
An outraged TikTok fan said: “We cry too, sis.”
Another joined in the conversation: “That looks so painful. Her eyes.”
“Is that eye infection included in the price?” someone else wondered.
“I don’t get it. Do you really like that look?” asked one critic.
Despite the harsh criticism and trolling, the Brazilian beauty has yet to respond to the haters and continues to show off her lashes.

Eyelash Expert Reveals Mistakes That Could Be Harmful to Your Eyes
BEAUTY EXPERT Nouveau Lashes, part of the HD Brows brand, has revealed which habits can be harmful not only to your health, but also to your beauty.
1. Rub your eyes
Debbie Law, International Lash Trainer, said: “Although rubbing your eyes may seem harmless enough, rubbing too hard can thin the cornea, break blood vessels and result in bloodshot eyes and dark circles under the eyes.”
2. Excessive use of extensions
Be aware that overuse can lead to eye infections, allergic reactions and damage to your natural lashes.
3. Wearing mascara too often
Debbie said: “Most of the damage that occurs from wearing mascara comes from removing it. That’s why wearing mascara every day can cause your lashes to break and make removing makeup more difficult.”
4. How to remove false eyelashes
Not only can this cause you to lose your eyelashes, it can also damage the hair follicles, preventing them from growing back.

How to Treat Bloodshot Eyes After Eyelash Extensions
If you experience red eyes after having eyelash extensions applied, it is important that you take care of your eyes as soon as possible.
Experts advise treating the redness with:
- Eye drops – these drops help lubricate the eyes and reduce redness and swelling. However, it is best to consult your eye doctor before using eye drops to ensure they are safe for your particular eye condition.
- Use a cold compress – soak a washcloth in cold water, wring it out and place it over your closed eyes for about 10-15 minutes. A bag of frozen peas or a gel eye mask is just as effective.
- Tea Bags – Similar to the cool compress trick, place moist, cool tea bags over your eyes for a few minutes. The trick works because of the tannins in tea which can soothe redness and swelling.
