Last month a Senior Hammers -Bron told Mail Sport: “He looks at which offers he gets.”

In a May interview with the French Outlet L’Equipe, Antonio said: ” The question is whether the club wants to extend my contract. That is my priority, but I am waiting.

“Until then I can only concentrate on my recovery, so that I can deliver, wherever I will be next year.”

“I want to push the record forward so that Jarrod Bowen doesn’t catch me,” Antonio said about his teammate of Hammers, who currently has 54 goals.

Antonio also sheds light on the support that West Ham gave him in the aftermath of the crash and revealed that the Premier League side had paid a private room in a hotel for him to continue his recovery with medial support and privacy.

“The sessions are very tough,” the attacker continued. ‘After each my leg is dead for a few hours!

‘I do a lot of power and strength to make my body normal again. I am still struggling because my brain constantly tells my leg: “You can’t do it.”

But he added: “It gets better every day, every week.”

In April, West Ham’s Record Premier League goalkeeper again visited the remains of the car on a scrap head, which placed the horror incident in perspective.

“It gave me a strange feeling in my stomach,” Antonio told BBC One Program Morning Live.

‘I just realized how close I was to die. I had seen the photos, but it was 10 times worse in person. The car was an absolute mess. It was difficult for me.

‘I only know that I hit a tree – I don’t know how to hit a tree – and that the police came and when they found me in the car, I was sitting between the two seats.

‘I have been more of an emotional man of the crash. I was not going back because I was somewhat ashamed of the crash and the accident. It is clear that I almost died in the car accident. ‘
