A mother has revealed a simple trick she uses to ensure picnic tables are clean before her family heads out for a camping meal.
She said she has seen many “disgusting things” put on tables during her travels.

Jessica Roderick (@family.of.nomads) has more than 2.4 million followers on TikTok, where she shares insights into her family life.
She went viral on the social media app when she shared an essential camping trick.
“Having lived in multiple campgrounds across the United States over the past two years, we have seen not only sewer hoses, but dog poop bags and many other disgusting things on the table,” she said.

Jessica, with the help of a coworker, began unfolding a tablecloth to make sure her workspace was clean before she sat down.
“We like to use picnic table covers with elastic,” she said.
“Not only does it not blow away, but they also come in many colours, so we got the blue one to match our camper.
“They even have some with holes, in case your picnic table has an umbrella.”
She said the picnic table covers were available for purchase on Amazon.
“If you’re camping you NEED this,” she captioned the post.
Nearly 47,000 people liked the video and many viewers responded positively to the idea.
