What is Li-Fi?
Okay Trish Li Fi leafy. What is this Li Fi uses the power of light to connect to the internet. It also promises speeds that are 100 times faster than Wi-Fi. While this process cannot be seen with the naked eye, light produces information that is then picked up by compatible devices. While this technology is still in the research phase, there are companies in the US like Signify and VLN com. Our funding of research to further develop this technology means that we probably won’t see its true impact on the internet until it hits the mainstream, which is expected to happen sometime between now and 2029.
