Wheel of Fortune contestant goes viral with one of the most hilarious wrong answers ever
A new week of Wheel of Fortune kicked off on Monday, with one contestant giving one of the most hilarious wrong answers in recent history.
Host Ryan Seacrest welcomed a trio of service members to celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, including Will Jordan of Wethersfield, Connecticut.
Will was doing well with the first puzzle, filling the board with six words in the category sentence, while most of the second and fourth words were filled in when he decided to solve the puzzle.
“Treat yourself to a round of sausage,” Will said, immediately realizing it was wrong, which Seacrest confirmed.
The next participant, Kitina, immediately solved it and gave the correct answer: ‘Give yourself a round of applause.’

Will, a Coast Guard veteran and 23-year police veteran who now works as a school resource officer, took the blunder in stride when Seacrest made fun of him.
After Kitina resolved it, Seacrest joked, “Although Will, I liked yours better anyway.” That sounds better than just clapping now.’
Will only made money in the game when he solved the final puzzle with the correct answer ‘Necklines and Hemlines’ and won a whopping $8,000.
He finished in third place behind Kitina with $10,500 and winner Chantel with $13,000, who advanced to the bonus round after winning $10,000 by solving all three puzzles in the Triple Toss-Up round.
Unfortunately, Chantel couldn’t solve the final puzzle of ‘Online Auction’, which would have won her $100,000.
After the match, Will proved to be a good sport about the accident, talking to Maggie Sajak about the missolve.
When Maggie – the daughter of iconic host Pat Sajak – asked how he felt at that moment, he said he was just ‘white’.
“Yeah, I’ll tell you, when the lights are on and you know the stars, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, it’s…I just went blank,” Will admitted.

Seacrest then came over with a playing card from the show which he signed, while Will asked him to reach out to the Jordan family, which he did.
“Don’t worry Will, even if they put sausages in your locker now,” as they shared a photo together.
But he added: “If your dad, who is retired, watches the show, maybe has a beer and laughs, it’s worth it.”
Maggie said she would say, “Make sure we tune in that night, that’s a promise,” because Will realized he would get a playful comment about the flub at home.
“I’m sure I’ll have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back, so we’ll try to have some fun with it,” Will added.
Seacrest then came over with a cue card from the show which he signed, when Will asked him to tell the Jordan family, which he did.
“This is going to be really special,” Will said as Ryan handed the playing card to Maggie for her to sign, offering some words of encouragement.
“Don’t worry Will, even if they put sausages in your locker now,” as they shared a photo together.
