Last year the Champions League -final was not shown on YouTube, which was a shock for many fans because it was broadcast on the platform from 2016 to 2023.

The competition was previously available to watch the official YouTube channel of BT Sport.

However, that was not the case in 2024 because BT Sport merges with Discovery+ and Eurosport under the TNT sports brand.

And instead of broadcasting the final for free on YouTube, the broadcaster chose to offer a free stream on their app, Discovery+

It is unclear whether TNT sports will broadcast the final on their YouTube channels or hold on to making the huge competition for free to watch at Discovery+, or just not freeing to look at all.
